Important Information

Butte Bungalow is not your average rental cabin. 

Please consider the following.

 

This is our family's cabin. We do not rent it out on any vacation rental sites. That means it is not set up for use by the general public. You will find some personal items in the medicine cabinet and closets, and the pantry is pretty well stocked.  Hopefully this is a positive. If you're looking for a more formally managed vacation rental, this is not for you.

We do not have a professional cleaning service. Guests are responsible for cleaning upon departure. This means leaving things as you found them; including washing linens, making beds and fully cleaning the bathroom and kitchen. This also means that something may be out of place when you get there. So far our guests have always done a great job of putting the cabin back together.

Please just keep this in mind before you book. 

 

This is a rural area that sometimes gets power outages. The cabin is stocked with plenty of candles and flashlights. The water and water heater are not affected by power outages. We have never had our visit ruined by a power outage.

Bottom Line

This cabin is for flexible people who are looking for a homey family place to spend some time in the mountains.  Butte Bungalow is our home away from home and we welcome guests who are willing to treat it like family.
