About the Bungalow
Our cozy cabin is a great space for families or a small group of friends. With a queen bedroom, a bunk room (double over twin) and a large loft with king bed, two close families can sleep with privacy and comfort.
The main living space consists of a fully stocked open kitchen, a wood stove, a hutch filled with games and puzzles, as well as a super cozy seating area to lounge after a day frolicking in the mountains. A library ladder can be used to access the large loft bedroom. There is a single bathroom with a shower and washer/dryer. The entryway is spacious and there's plenty of room for hanging coats and leaving shoes. There is also a private cottage just off the back deck with a desk for working remotely and the possibility of additional private sleeping space.
Our large yard accommodates a fire pit, hammock and slack line as well as a BBQ and outdoor dining table for seasonal use.
The cabin has high speed internet, heat and air-conditioning.
Explore the Lost Sierra

The Butte Bungalow is in "downtown" Sierra City. Our quiet community runs on the North Yuba River at the base of the Sierra Buttes. Don't get us wrong, we love Lake Tahoe, but if you want to avoid the traffic and experience the super magnificent Sierra Nevada, come to our little corner of the forest.
